Thanks, Maureen, I have read all sorts of glowing reports on Isaac Van Wart, most of them good, but I have also read that "those three scoundrels" were nothing more than highway robbers! In their defense, it should be pointed out that these were war years and people were having a hard time just surviving. Food was scarce as was money and other basic necessities so highway robbery helped to solve problems. Also, I believe that Isaac was only twenty years old! There are always two side to every story!
