Ed, Some of the Palmers were in Westchester in the mid-1600s.....Wm of Wethersfield CT......also my 7th g-grandfather Mattlhew Smith testified at a Coroner's inquest in 1681 in the death of Thomas Palmer. The Drakes, Sherwoods, and Wards came to the MA colony first then migrated to Westchester in early 1700s.....but you may already know all this. John Archer was very early too.....not one of my lines.
