Judy, I am researching the surnames of Clark, Connolly, Ferry and Bleakley in Verplanck. It is such a small town I am sure that your mother probably recognizes some of these names. The Clarks lived there from about 1850 - 1910 on 6th St. I am looking for information on a Mary Clark who married William Bleakley - I believe that they lived near the Hudson River because I can remember my dad (who lived in White Plains) telling me how he would visit his aunt and that the children would swim in the Hudson in front of the Bleakley house.
