    3. Marg, FYI some of the NY UNDERHILLs were Loyalist and arrived in New Brunswick, Canada, in 1780s. Several received land grants, some of their Christian names include: Thomas; Nathaniel; Barto; James; Hannah; John, etc. I have found oddles of UNDERHILL info by doing a quick n dirty search of the New Brunswick Archives. http://archives.gnb.ca/Archives/Default.aspx?L=EN This is the BEST on-line resource in North America!!!!! These for the most part are government records. You will find registered vital statistics (birth, marriage & death); pensions for Revolutionary soldiers/widows; land grants/petitions; 1800 newspaper vital stats info; and marriage bonds. Info contains dates/registration #s; etc. I am also sending you under separate cover a much longer message containing some of the info that I found on UNDERHILLS. 3. Hi Debby, Thanks for the URL. I put an icon on my desktop . My maternal great grandfather was born in NB (I think).....not yet thoroughly documented. I have documented that my maternal grnadmother was born n Quebec. All this has nothing to do with the Rev War or Loyalists grants. These people were not in the US til the 1800s .....from Ireland and Canada.
