Sent for a death certificate from vital records at Chambers St in NY for William Campbell. Included all the information that I had. Received a record for William Campbell with all the wrong information. My William was married-theirs was a bachlor. My William was born in NY--theirs was born in Ireland. Everything was wrong but the name. After thinking about it awhile I sent for it again repeating everything I knew about William plus his last address and age. I received the same certificate I got the first time.
