Yes, Bill, I have Underhill Barnes, born 1694, died 1712. His lineage can be traced back to Edward Barnes, b.1580, d. 1657. Jane's mother was Miriam Baxter, born 1696. I have no death date for her. Her lineage can be traced back to George Baxter, b. 1600. The Baxter name struck a bell in my head! Did a little searching and found some interesting info on a Thomas Baxter who was married to Rebecca Adams. Thomas had a fascinating career -- he was contracted by the Dutch to build a alasade for the defense of New Amsterdam in 1653 -- he turned pirate and landed in a dungeon in Ft. Amsterdam. He later escaped. I have part of Rebecca (Adams) Baxter's will, which was witnessed by Nathaniel UNDERHILL and William FORSTER.
