Jean: I have William Forster born 9 Apr 1721 by 4 different sources. Is the "English Society for the Propagation of the Gospel" a organization? Maybe I could Google it and maybe find something. She was born Oct. 1716, married William Forster about 1734, and died Dec. 7, 1797. William Forster was born 1710. I rather doubt that he was a preacher when he was sent to America in 1720 or 1725. A little young, don't you think? I wonder what the English Society for the Propagation of the Gospel had in mind when they shipped him off! Jane Barnes was the daughter of Underhill Barnes, born 1693, died 1712 (quite young!) His lineage can be traced back to Edward Barnes, b. 1580, died 1657. Jane's mother was Miriam Baxter, b.1696. Her lineage can be traced back to George Baxter, b. 1600 I got my information from Carsten Johnson, Historian of Pleasantville, Westchester Co., NY. Jean: I'm sorry, I was looking at the wrong husband. I also have her married to William Peter FOSHAY and that was his birth date. I don't have when she married FOSHAY. Thanks for the info you sent me. I only got 2 pages, seems like there should be more.
