    3. Many of the early French immigrants sailed from LaRochelle, France. Bill Forshay <billforshay@yahoo. She died 12 Nov 1694 and is buried in the French Church du Saint Esprit, 111 E. 60th St., New York City. I wrote them a letter and they have no records on her. Is there anyone out there that has some ideas where I can look for this family in France? What ship they came over on? What Judith's maiden name was? 3. Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question. The LDS Church (familysearch.org) has much information in their booklet on French Research. You may be able to find some sources there. I think you can download booklet from internet. Olive Tree website has many immigration records but I don't know if any France immigration is included.
