June :-) >> Yes that is true . . . however, anyone expecting to get much genealogical information from a County Farm Cemetery will most likely be disappointed . . . one I have visited for the most northern county in New Hampshire, only has one large monument there, dedicated to the people buried there, and that was erected only in the last ten years or so . . . the burial ground otherwise looks like a large fenced in lawn with no other markers . . . it may only be fenced in because it is on the grounds of the County Farm, which is active and has cows pasturing next to it . . . Another I am aware of, also in NH, but much farther south, only has a small headstone for each person buried, with just the persons name on it, lying flush with the surface of the lawn . . . Again, hope this helps someone, Don Angevine Bethel, Maine, USA
