    3. Does anyone have access to Yonkers city directories for the years from 1886 to 1894-ish that could do a surname lookup for me. Internet search looks like everything is in Yonkers libraries, and I'm about 1,000 miles from the nearest one. --------------------------------- Building a website is a piece of cake. Yahoo! 3. Hello Paul, There is a microfilm available from the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah which contains Boyd's Yonkers City Directory 1888-1889. The microfilm can be rented at any Mormon Family History Center. To find your nearest Family History Center go to http://www.familysearch.org Click on Library. Click on Family History Centers. If you live very far from a center, I have one here in Upland CA just a mile away. I would be willing to order the film and do the search for you. Let me know. 3. Wow! I thought LDS only did birth/death/marriage records. I have an LDS a few miles down the road. I haven't been in one before, but I have 3 rolls coming from an old village in Austria to look at. Any recommendations on finding the LDS roll number that pertains to this directory? For that matter, is there a master index of all LDS film names? I'm sure they have tons more I could get something out of. And thank you for the offer of doing the lookup if I didn't have LDS nearby.
