Oh well, it lasted for 55 years anyway, I THINK he was happy that we made it that far! He's only been gone 6 months yesterday. I miss him so much. Dear Joan, Reading this my heart went out to you, as I have been married 49 years to my best friend (more in our later years - ha) and he has a bad heart & I may lose him any time & I dread the day. Just had to let you know many of us are out there knowing how you feel, losing ones companion, friend, one who knows you best & still loves you. My prayers are with you to give you the strength to enjoy the rest of your life. I know mine will be through my kids & grandkids. June
