Hello Eileen, I found an Edward A. Foshay, age 33 in the 1880 Westchester Co.census. In the 1900 census of Westchester Co., Town of Rye, there is an Edward Foshay, age 59. His wife Eva is listed also. This one looks as though he could be who you are looking for. The age is about right! Hope this helps!
