    3. We have a such an awful school system they need something like the Spanish immersion program to coax middle class kilds into the school. That and the outrageous price of private schools. They now want $23,000 for elementary school--the same school where I sent my kids for a thousand. Middle class kids have long avoided the Englewood public schools, but my daughter has 4 children--you do the math. Hence they are in the public schools taking odvantage of whatever they have to offer. Learning Spanish prevents total boredom, as they are all well ahead of grade level.
