I David Morgan late of the Town Clinton, county of Dutchess and State of New York. Being weak in body but sound in mind believing that my time in this world is almost spent. I do make and publish this my Last Will and testament in the manner and form following. That is to say I do order that all my household and personal property shall be sold to the best aide? Advantage excepting that I do give and bequeath the choice of two beds with all the bedding and all my silver spoons to my beloved wife Cecilia Morgan. I do order that all my debts shall be collected from the money thus as well as from the monies arising from the sale of my personal property shall be appropriated to the payment of all my honest debts and my funeral charges. I do further order and demand All my real property sold at such a time as may be judged proper best to promote the interest of my family should the monies arising from my personal property not discharge my debts and funeral charges then I so direct that money should be taken up and my real estate shall be given to secure the payment of the same if this security should be deemed necessary. I do give and bequeath to my Father-in-law Peter Lewis my watch as a testimony of my esteem to him together with all my wearing apparel.. I do direct that as soon as all my property shall be sold , it shall be put out to use and secured by Mortgage on landed property to remain or so to be continued until my Daughter Catherine may marry. I do further more direct that all the interest arising from my Estate shall be for the use and benefit of my wife Cecilia and my daughter Catherine and the (can’t read Polnathin) of said child. But should my wife marry then she shall have one third of the interest arising from the money at use for as long she may live but the interest remaining that is to say the two thirds shall be for the use support and benefit of my child Catherine. Should my child Catherine die before her mother Cecilia and without issue then all the interest of the money at use shall be for the benefit of the said Cecilia or should Cecilia die before Catherine my daughter then said Catherine shall Heir the whole income arising from the afforsaid property.
