    3. If I had children, I would home teach them. Children that are home taught develop an interest in learning, and become self motivated.Their parent's can discern their learning style and thereby assist them better. They don't become "socialized" so that they relate to their peer group's values more than those of their family. They are farther advanced than other students, and spend less time studying. I would never send a child to school today - it is too confusing to them and most of them lose their interest in learning pretty quickly. Also, schools are now dangerous places, and I would be frightened to send a child to a school. It wasn't that way when I grew up, but the things that go on in schools now horrify me. My husband sub. teaches and the students are about as civilized as a group of mad gorillas.
