    3. Very interesting!! My 3rd great grandmother was named Effie and that's all I know about her unfortunately. She married my 3rd greatgrandfather John Smith son on Caleb Smith and Elizabeth Sherwood. I have all this documented in both family and non family records.....but all records I've found so far have failed to elaborate on Effie. Even the name "Effie" might not be her given name. It has been suggested that it could be Euphemia, Frances or just plain Effie. Eva is a new one for me.
