My grandmother and her siblings were baptized in Immaculate Conception Church in Irvington in the mid 1880s and 1890s. I have no idea where my great-grandparents, Thomas BLAKE and Mary MCDONNELL, were married (the church's marriage records don't go back that far, so I don't know if they were married there or not). Should I start my search in the Irvington courthouse, then try Greenburgh, then expand to Westchester County court records? Does this research avenue make sense when the only piece of information I have on my great-grandparents is the baptismal records for their children?
