I want to thank you all - for your tremendous help you have given me a few weeks ago on how to order a "Request for Photocopies" from the Church of The Latter Day Saints. Plus finding members of my "MADUSKE" family. Well with the good work of those who have put Marriage & Death records on the web, I found many possible family members and sent for them through the LDS. I can't believe the fantastic service I received from the LDS. I sent in for 8 marriage certificates (fee only $16.00) Within two weeks I received them all (both sides of the certificate for the price of one - $2.00). One, I had the wrong # on it, and they sent me back a $2.00 credit toward my next order. Their postage alone was $1.45 to send these certificates back to me - plus their time & effect. They also sent with my order two printed sheets explaining what they did for each request I sent. I was in awe with the service they gave to me. I'm sure it cost them more then the $2.00 - I sent them for each certificate. So I truly want to thank the Church of The Latter Day Saints for their devotion, those who put out all types of indexes on the web (like John Martino - whom I personally worked with) and mostly you my fellow "list" friends, for jumping quickly into getting as much information as you can find, for any question I have ask. Without your help I would of never gotten this far. You found family I never knew I had - then looking up on the Italian Databases & Stephen Morse sites - I got the index numbers - Then send it out to the Church of The Latter Day Saints - Then to have the PROOF in my hands of what you suggested may be my family, is a feeling that is so out of this world. I can never thank you enough. Thank you for being there to help others, I know it means a lot to me, June :-)

Please share how you ordered the certificates from LDS. Was it an online form or a paper form? Thanks. Dear Connie, I just sent out a "How To", to Cliff, answering your question I think too. It's a form I got from on line, but you fill it out in paper form & mail out with a check to the FHC - in Utah. I received my certificates within 2 weeks, in a large envelope - with another form to use next time.
