I have Ancestry.com but cannot locate either family in the 1930 census, yet I know both were married and had children. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi List, I have found and sent to Denise off-list, information on US Census data for Mathew's family/line from 1880 thru 1930. Also, his WWI draft registration, and his and Mary's SS Death Index data. Regarding the Emersons, I have sent SS Death Index data for Margaret W Emerson and her son Bertram. I found that Bertram was an alum of Virginia Tech and lived and died in California. Also, I found what appears to be a living spouse, who appears to be living with an older brother of Bertram, all needing verification of course. However, there is a current address and telephone number available which I have forwarded to Denise. I could not find anything on Harold with the possible exception of one Harold Emerson boarding in Syracuse in 1930. More information on his parents and/or siblings might help.
