    3. Carol-- Thank you for sharing this! I've been reading, chasing and tracing Westchester cemeteries in the vicinity of Rye, Harrison and White Plains for almost 2 years--unable to learn what, when or where cemeteries were moved when the church yard was destroyed. Many suggestions and dead ends--no pun intended. Christ Church in Rye had a fire prior to 1785 and my last letter to Grace Church, WP went unanswered, with a report [perhaps on this list] saying it is now a shelter or something like that? Need to contact the Episcopalian Archives. When this popped from my screen -- while rather aimlessly reading/deleting some mail, it really woke me up! These are my people--Captain Joseph Hatfield's daughter Ann married my Mr. Tredwell. their 3rd daughter is my ggrandmother, Rebecca, and I have been unable to prove the connection to her parents. I can now try for an obit or death record of Captain Joseph--hoping he mentions daughter and granddaughter in a Will. I believe he died in 1837. Thanks SO much!
