I am searching for more information on the ancestors and/or descendents of Willet TRAVIS Sr (born Abt. May 04, 1775 Somers, Westchester Co, NY; according to headstone died at 94y, 5m, 26d on October 30, 1869, buried Presbyterian Churchyard, Mahopac Falls, Putnam Co, NY). He was married to Charlotte KIRKHAM (dau of Peter KIRKHAM and Tamar HYATT, born abt. December 20, 1773 in NY; according to headstone died at 86y, 2m, 5d on February 25, 1860, also buried Presbyterian Churchyard, Mahopac Falls, Putnam Co, NY) I have pieced together the following children (and grandchildren): (1) Mary TRAVIS (born abt. (3) Willett TRAVIS, Jr. (born abt 1810 in Putnam, NY, died abt 1895); married abt 1840 Hester Ann TRAVIS (dau of David TRAVIS and Sarah WRIGHT, born February 06, 1819 in NY, died February 27, 1902) (4) Lewis TRAVIS ( born April 28, 1811 in Westchester Co, NY, died November 20, 1866, buried Union Valley Cemetery, Carmel, Putnam Co, NY); married Elizabeth WRIGHT abt 1844 (born January 29, 1822) (5) Ira TRAVIS (born abt 1814) Children of Willet TRAVIS, Jr and Hester Ann TRAVIS: (1) William TRAVIS (born abt 1840). TRAVIS (born May 27, 1845 in NY, died after 1930); mar abt 1867 Catherine ROMER (dau of James ROMER and Adelia LICKLEY, born abt 1844, died abt 1899); They had 4 children Eva Amanda TRAVIS, James "Henry" TRAVIS, Laura TRAVIS and Alvah TRAVIS. (3) Phebe Frances TRAVIS (born December 1849, died at 6 months, 11 days on May 26, 1850, buried in Somers, Westchester Co, NY) (4) Frank Fletcher TRAVIS (January 07, 1856 in Somer Center, Westchester Co, NY, died August 23, 1913 in West Haven, New Haven Co, CT, buried Rural Cemetery, White Plains, Westchester Co, NY) married Susan ROBINSON (born April 08, 1862 in White Plains, Westchester Co, NY, died January 01, 1922 in Bridgeport, Fairfield Co, CT, also buried Rural Cemetery, White Plains, Westchester Co, NY.)
