    3. Hi all, I live in New Rochelle and found this list by way of searching for information about my house. I am impressed with the resourcefullness of the folks on this list, and your attention to detail. I am also surprised by the dead ends these historical searches can lead one to - for instance, the NEw Rochelle Historical Society listed on the NYGenWeb - the phone is disconnected and web search doesn't find any other contact info for them. So, I am asking for some suggestions regarding the original construction of my house - where besides the building dept and the title search might I look for info? Photographs? The names of the original owners? The house was built in 1895 and there was an addition ,made in 1930. The title doesn't have any details - but bascially the back of the house was added on then. I would like to know how it looked before that change. Thanks Benita ____________________________________________________________________________________ Pinpoint customers who are looking for what you sell. http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com/

    3. My beloved family home in Watertown, NY, is still standing. Sold to others, I still consider it MY house as it was built when I was 2 and remember being very excited when we went to check its progress. I decided to make a doll house replica of it. Since I haven't been inside it for years, I had no idea of measurements. I wrote the Building Dept of Watertown and the connected me to some office where they still had the blueprints of the house. What a find! Doll house was built, enjoyed, and is now setting in the Co. Historical Bldg.
