I am looking for information on the parents and siblings of: Alfred H. Smith born Aug 9, 1822 in New York City He married Hannah Knapp, year unknown. They had two sons: Augustus born March 23, 1842 in Peekskill Elias born Oct 4, 1843 in Peekskill Alfred's parents are listed as Alfred and Anna Smith on a subsequent marriage license, but I'm not so sure it is correct. He purchased property in Kent, Putnam County in 1843. After Hannah's death on August 15, 1847, he moves to Wisconsin, first Manitowac, then to West Bend, Washington County a few years later.
