I just found phone numbers for the Archeology Unit, Technical Assistance and National Register & Survey Unit. Let us hope they already know about this. I have a contact I'm going to reach out to as well. I have a professional acquaintance, an archaeologist who works in NY frequently and is on a first name basis with all the "right" people at SHPO. I haven't wanted to impose on her, but finding out that WCHS wasn't even aware of this discovery makes me very apprehensive as to who has and has not been informed. I don't live anywhere near this discovery - but am absolutely fascinated by this discussion line. Please keep it up and let us know what happens.
