Westchester County Genealogical Society is celebrating the 125th anniversary of Ellis Island Immigration Station with Toni McKeen and her talk on The Immigrant Experience. On April 18, 1890, Federal gov't assumed control of immigration when President Benjamin Harrison designated Ellis Island as 1st Federal Immigration Station.
