So far I'm coming up empty searching on line for a birth record for Elsie Logan, believed to be born 10 Jan 1891 in Tarrytown, Westchester, New York to Ethel Kilby and Daniel Logan. I want to confirm her parents. I've found census records with her and her mother, and a marriage record index for her in 1917. I'm ordering the marriage certificate. Would it likely have her parents' name? I've just contacted the county clerk in Tarrytown, for advice on how to search/get a copy of a birth certificate if it exists.
