Great stuff! Which line I'm from is my problem. Adrian "Edward" Waldron (Jr) married Anne Secor on 10 Feb 1803 in West Hempstead, Rockland, NY. She was between 9 and 19 at the time, and she was 9 months pregnant. The first child was born 17 days later. So, definitely older than 9, I think. I've only been able to use secondary records to set her age. She died between 1823 and 1825 with 10 children (at least 6 survived). I've used a process of elimination, but forgot what I used to do that, other than the Census records. So, I wanted to do it right and build the Sicard/Secor/... line out fully from Ambroise into it's own gedcom database, complete with citations. At the moment, my theory is her father was John Secor. It's possible she had a brother John J Secor. I have a list of six Secor men who are alternate possibilities. Benjamin and James D. Secor I have been able to positively rule out. Also ruling out the Dutchess County Secor line. There are two Johns. It's always possible there are yet other possible fathers, such as one of the Loyalists. Edward Waldron's father was a Patriot. Which might explain the utter silence on Anne's family. With some patience,detective work, maybe some DNA, and a little luck, I think I can convincingly solve this mystery.
