Looking for any information on the Barhite family (also spelled Barheit, Barheidt, Barhight, Borhite and other variations). Aaron Barhite (Born 4 Dec. 1801) married Delilah Brewer (Brauer?) c. 1820 to 1830. Would also like to determine Delilah's parents. The Barhites originated in the Albany area in the 1600's and gradually moved south, living in Cold Spring, Philipsburg, North Salem and Lewisboro. They eventually ended up in Ridgefield and Danbury CT.
