He was born on August 15, 1820 in the village of Struth, emigrated in 1848 to America and died in April 11, 1867 in Hastings-on-Hudson.The family were devout Roman Catholics. I have written to the Archdiocese of NY in Yonkers to ask about his final resting place a long time ago but sadly never got a reply. I would be grateful for any assistance with my research.
