Washington Avenue, especially lower (2-27), was full of bars as it was the main thoroughfare to get to and from the factories. The Catholic Church in town is St. Matthew's, although that was not established as a parish until ~1914. I do not know when it was established as a mission, but it might have been around in the 1870s. Good luck! Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
