I am tracing my husband’s family and one of his relatives was deported to Westchester County, New York in 1755 from Acadia. Francoise Martin and her husband Charles Savoie along with 8 of their 11 children were supposedly sent to New Rochelle. Where would I look for further information on this family. There is a chance they may have been sent to Louisiana around 1763.
