I have made a complete list of all stones still there, I DO NOT have it alphabetized as of yet, there are at least 100 markers there, If you have a time frame and a name I will take a look in my list. The first year is 1927 and the last is 1971 Please do not flood me with requests. There was an earlier cemetery that was moved when the Saw Mill Parkway was built which was also for the Alms house. I have as yet not found any records for this one. In a few very rare circumstances, they outsourced or contracted this responsbility to an established archive as was done in New York City when the FHC closed there several years ago. The New York State Library has all the available NY state censuses at their facility. I don't know if they would lend copies to another library through Inter-Library Loan but your local library could certainly ask. To see which NY state censuses they have for each county within the state, take a look at their web page below: http://www.nysl.nysed.gov/genealogy/nyscens.htm Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. If an adoption occurred in 1918, would if HAVE to go through the court system? Would a name change need to go through the court system? I have a situation in which a baby was born to a younger, unmarried sister and then raised by an older, married sister. The name on the birth certificate is not the name the baby used. I get the sense that perhaps this was NOT handled by the legal system, but I can't be sure and don't even know how to go about looking for court records, if they exist. I appreciate any guidance you might be able to provide!

You can then view it at the FHC. See the following link for the catalog entry for these censuses for Westchester: https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/show?uri=http://catalog-search-api:8080/www-catalogapi-webservice/item/177058 To find a Family History Center, visit the following web page link and use their search engine for an FHC near you. https://www.familysearch.org/locations Call them before going so that you know when they are open. Since they are staffed by volunteers, the hours they are open depends on the how many volunteers they get. Also, for some of the FHCs you now have to order the microfilms online. Ask on the phone before going to the FHC. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I am trying to locate my husband's g-grandfather, Oliver Reynolds, his wife Anna (Powers), and daughters Viola and Myrtle, who would have been living on Voss Avenue in Yonkers. In in the 1920 census, the address was recorded as being in the 6th Ward ED245. I know he was still at the same address through at least 1928. I'm also trying to find access to the 1915 census, although I'm not sure if Oliver was in Westchester or Putnam Co with his first wife. Any help is greatly appreciated.
