    3. Have you tried Westchester County Archives? There are about 3 Andrew/Andro Sabol records for naturalizations. Go to http://archives.westchestergov.com/ Pick online indexes Pick Naturalization Records You can check with them to see how much it would cost. -----Original Message----- From: Paul Sabol <[email protected]> To: NYWESTCH <[email protected]> Sent: Mon, May 14, 2012 4:39 pm Subject: [NYWESTCH] Naturalization Question...where to next? Not sure how I should approach this so I'll post to the board: My g-grandfather immigrated sometime around 1885 from Slovakia. His future wife mmigrated around the same time give or take a year maybe two. If the city irectory I saw was them, they were briefly in PA in the late 1880s. Story goes hey went back to the old country (at least the wife and kids) and returned in 902. I do have the passenger list where she and the kids came into NY. After 902 they were in Yonkers until his death sometime around 1914. at which point is widow and kids went back to PA where they were in the late 1880s. As you an see I cannot pin down hardly any documented details on them yet. If I want to search naturalization records from a person who lived in Yonkers, hould I just search for any name that resembles "Andrew Sabol"? Would it do me ny good to search for naturalization papers on his wife? If so, should I use er maiden name or married name? Is there a specific index of naturalization etitions I should be looking for since they lived in Yonkers? don't even know if he became a naturalized citizen but I recall seeing once pon a time a list of numerous names similar to Andrew Sabol that filed a etition. If I have to I'll purchase a copy of every darn one just to try and ind one solid detail of this elusive couple. egards, aul G. Sabol Pain or damage don’t end the world, or despair or beatings. 3. If your Andrew Sabol filed for natuarlization in Yonkers, you can check the online index at the Westchester County Archives. See the following URL: http://archives.westchestergov.com/browse-all-online-indexes/naturalizations-index I reviewed their index and found the following three possibilities which fit the timeframe that you Andrew Sabol was in Westchester county. LastName FirstName Type Year document number ANo SABOL ANDREW Declaration 1907 A-0008(1) SABOL ANDRO Petition 1892 A082(5)S(C1) SABOL ANDRO Declaration ca. 1904-1906 A-0006(5) They have information on their web pages on how to order a copy of any of the above items. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Sabol" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, May 14, 2012 4:23 PM Subject: [NYWESTCH] Naturalization Question...where to next? > Not sure how I should approach this so I'll post to the board: > > My g-grandfather immigrated sometime around 1885 from Slovakia. 3. Use some screenshot software that allows you to capture only a portion of the screen. That way, you can zoom to whatever resolution you want, even blow it up. It gets difficult when the article is longer than your screen though. Phil On May 13, 2012, at 9:02 PM, Bill Forshay wrote: > Hi: > > I have a problem. I go to Fulton.com the newspaper site.
