Hi, I found a snapshot of Cousin Evelyn Barbur, with her sister Eloise Dewey and (I believe) her husband Earl Dewey (they are certainly smiling happily) standing next to a light plane. There's another light plane in the background. The back of the photo says "Chapin Farm" and "June 28, '64". Any idea where the Chapin Farm was? Bob Stromberg Greenwich, NY
Chapin field is just north of Cambridge off rt22 I think, probably used to be a farm, it's a grass strip I think. My brother belongs to a flying club there. ----- Original Message ----- From: Bob Stromberg<mailto:bob.stromberg@gmail.com> To: NYWASHIN-L@rootsweb.com<mailto:NYWASHIN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, July 30, 2009 12:18 PM Subject: [NYWASHIN] where was the Chapin Farm in 1964?
