Joann, No problem, Yes, the materials are quite different. Archives has wills, naturalizations, tax maps, and records of that source along with genealogies. The historian's office has surname files, bible records, manuscripts, town and county histories, special collections and books, cemetery records for all 17 towns and villages, over 60 years of correspondance from researchers and materials of that sort. Both offices are excellent sources for genealogy and history and most researchers use both of them.
