No, the services are widespread and they collect records we research all the times. Many of these recoreds are also on microfilm through Family History Centers, without the state library, won't have them available to you for research on your families. such closures affect everybody not only within the state but every body outside of the state. Same thing happened in Michigan and the Governor lost the battle with genealogists and state legislature in her attempt to scatter the collections of the Library of Michigan. The genealogists were not limited to Michigan.
