I've "rescued" an old photograph of Grace MORRIS MACDOUGAL, the Aunt of Rita MORRIS LESSON which was taken at the G. C. Millham Studio in Hoosick Falls, New York. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's or early 1900's with Grace appearing to be in her 20's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate some information regarding Grace's niece as follows: Rita F. MORRIS b. 16 Jul 1909 in Middle Falls, NY to parents Sigismund MORRIS (b. about 1869 in Washington Co. NY) and Ada KING (b. about 1880 in VT). Rita married Francis A. "Fritz" LESSON (b. 5 Nov 1905 in Greenwich, NY) and together they had at least one child. Rita died 14 Mar 1989 in Middle Falls, NY. I am hoping to find someone from this family so that this wonderful old treasure can be returned to their care.
