Hello, I am new to this list and would like to know where I might go about finding marriage records for 1831. The person I am interested in is Harriet SCOTT b in NY abt 1807 and married in Sandy Hill, NY in 1831 to Francis NORTON. The Norton family was in Washington County before leaving for Allegany County, NY. I don't know if Harriet was born in Washington County, but she was born in NY and the marriage did take place in W county. If anyone is researching this line or if anyone has any suggestions about the marriage records I would appreciate and help and or suggestions. Thank you, Nana (NAY-na) Rutherford Redell
