Woodard, Mrs. Frances Douglass, Miss Carrie Boutwell and Mrs. G. C. Jones were in Rutland Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Kelley and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Scott of Springfield, Mass., have been spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. William McCuen. The pre-memorial service of the Woman's Relief corps will be held in the M. E. Church Sunday evening. The Poultney corps will attend in a body. A one-act play entitled "How the Story Grew" will be presented in the M.E. church Friday evening, June 1st, under the auspices of the Ladies' Aid society. The following ladies will take part: Mrs. Lucy Kelley, Mrs. Dorothy Moore, Mrs. Bertha Burton, Mrs. Allie Brown, Mrs. Minnie Dailey, Mrs. Eva Marcy, Mrs. Bessie Hodlin and Irma Hodlin.
