Rose, very glad to hear about your find. As for the listing of the newspapers, you need to click on the FAQ_HELP_INDEX button at near the top right of your screen. The first sentence will have a blue HERE button, click on it, and you will be brought to three pages of newpapers listings. I strongly urge researchers to read the FAQ. It will help you narrow your search. Tom T. has done an excellent job of bringing computer searches to somewhat easy to understand suggestions. Also, knowing how Adobe works will help you in printing pages out. Don
Does anyone know if there was a newspaper in Fort Edward in the 1860-1900 time frame? If so, where might I find copies/images? Thanks, kathy
There was a Greenwich Journal & Fort Edward Advertiser. As far as I know, no copies are on line. You can use Interlibrary Loan to get the microfilm. There are copies of the microfilm at the State Library in Albany and at the Greenwich Free Library. I don't think the latter will participate in the loan program, but the State Library does.
