Misses Marjorie Ellis and Florence Waller have gone to New York university where the latter is teaching. Mrs. Jewett of Truthville has come to the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Edwards, for the winter. Mr. and Mrs. Pierce Jones and family of Amsterdam, N.Y., Mrs. Owen Williams, Mrs. Kate Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Doll and daughter of Schenectady passed the week-end with Mrs. John Lloyd. Maj. George Byrd, U. S. A., (retired), who has been spending a few days with Maj. Paul R. Manchester, left Wednesday morning for Florida, where he owns property. Miss Bessie Berryman has returned from a several weeks' visit at Westfield on Lake Erie. Mrs. J. Clark Simmons was in Rutland the last of the week. Mrs. Mostyn Parry is out after a recent illness. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wilson were in Brandon Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Harry B. Douglass and Mr. and Mrs. Charles P. Thurn have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Victor Gaynor of Round Lake. William J. Evans has entered the employ of the Vermont Hydro-Electric company of South Poultney. Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius McFadden have been visiting Mrs. Julia Lovejoy at Cambridge, N.Y. Mr. and Mrs. Richard G.
