This message is for CWFan in Georgia. I have located the death date and burial location for Newell Harwood of Salem. He died 12 March 1863 and is buried in the Bininger Road Cemetery in Eagleville in the Town of Salem, NY. Please get back to me with where the 123rd Regiment was located on that date. It appears that Norwood died in Sushan at home* after having been discharged in December, 1862 from a hospital in Baltamore, Md. as Harewood The123d NY was located near Stafford Court House, VA in March of '63. * I have noted in my records but have neglected to record the source.
