Hi, Seeking to prove William Powers born 28 March 1760 in MA was the son of Andrew POWERS, and William moved from Hartford, Windsor Co., VT, to Whitehall, Washington Co., NY. Children may have been: Andrew, William Jr., Anna, James, Benjamin, Jonathan [my ancestor], Simon, Theda, Almena, and/orHannah. In the 1790 census in Whitehall, Washington Co., New York on the Vermont state line near where the Joseph BERRY family formerly of Guildhall, VT, were supposed to have been living at the time there is a William POWERS with a household enumeration that was close to being correct (one son missing). This may have been my William as the one identified in Hartford, Windsor Co., VT in the same census had too many people in his household enumeration. Thanks to Jim and Lester for this data.
