I have transcribed Item 5, the alien declarations of intention for the Irish born from the court of Common Pleas, Rensselaer County for LDS film #1304663. They cover the years 1875 to 1880 and number almost 300 records. The aliens who filed the papers not only lived in Rensselaer county but in surrounding counties. Probably about half or more of the records give the county in Ireland of birth and about half of them also give the townland. This film is a huge film and dates 1855-1884.
