Jonathan-Susannah (Gifford) Sherman (she b. Feb. 15, 1747; d. 1842; she m. 2 Philip Estey). Residences: Dartmouth, Mass.; Cambridgetown, Albany Co., N. Y. According to tradition, Nicanor Wilbor was owner of a vessel which made voyages to China. During a return trip from one of these voyages, the ship was wrecked off the coast of Rhode Island. Nicanor escaped on a raft and managed to save a very few things. In August, 1779, he sold land in Dartmouth to George Handy. Nicanor afterward moved to Cambridgetown, Albany county, N. Y.
