Sigmund Weinberg, prominent business man of Granville, died at his home there at 2 o'clock on Friday morning, following an illness of several months. Pneumonia, which developed a few days ago, hastened his death. Mr. Weinberg was born in Germany 75 years ago, and had been for a long period a resident of Granville, where he interested himself in real estate and practically built the western section of the town which he adopted. He was widely known throughout Washington county. For 20 years he conducted a large lumber, and hardware business, in which he was assisted by his three sons, who survive, Irving, Harry and Lawrence.
