Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Chapin of this village, who have legally adopted as their own, the little six year twins, who have been in their home for some time, wish to correct an item that appeared a few weeks ago in this paper, in regard to the children's parents. Herbert J. Hunn, the superintendent of the Troy Orphan asylum, was written to in regard to the matter, and this is his reply: "The mother of the children you have adopted does not, and never did live in Granville, Neither parent came from Granville, and I am informed never resided in Washington county. You can deny the Granville connection with the case entirely ".
