Severance, 71, of Cold River road, Clarendon, Vt., who died suddenly at Rutland (Vt) hospital yesterday, will be held in the Spencer Funeral home Friday at 1:30 p.m. Born in Middlebury, Vt. on May 12, 1879, Mrs. Severance was the widow of George M. Severance who died in 1946. She had resided here for the past 50 years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Henry M. Kingsbury of Cold River road, Clarendon, Vt. and Mrs. Ernest Griffith of Granville, N.Y. ; a son, Earl Severance of Pittsford, Vt. ; five grandsons and two great-granddaughters. Burial will be in Prospect cemetery, Middlebury, Vt.
