I have part of an old map that shows some lot numbers. The date of publication is 1895 but the information presented is from an earlier period. It shows lot numbers crossing town lines. There is a column of lots running from Jackson across the town line and through Cambridge. Lot 56 is 90% is Jackson with only the south west corner in Cambridge and lot 57 is about 50-50. The north east half is in Jackson and south west in Cambridge. Both lots are approximately 2 to 3 miles north west from the town center - i.e. towards Greenwich. I will forward a fragment of the map to your own email (the list will not accept attachments). The entire map is too large to be emailed. > -----Original Message----- > From: Michael McAlonie [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Saturday, August 28, 2004 13:59 > To: [email protected] > Subject: [NYWASHIN] lot numbers > > > would anyone know approximately where Cambridge lots 56 and > 57 would be today that were mentioned in an old deed? > > Thanks, Mike > > > ============================== > Gain access to over two billion names including the new Immigration > Collection with an Ancestry.com free trial.
