    3. Leslie -- I know that Jay VAUGHN is the son of Darwin C. VAUGHN and Jane Marie DUERS. Darwin VAUGHN is the son of John VAUGHN (1799-1845) and Hannah MARTIN (1805-1902), but I have not followed this line further because my relatives are the DUERS side of the family. I do know that the name VAUGHN is also spelled VAUGHAN and would not be surprised if it was spelled VAHAN as well in some records.
